You want a piece of me?!

Yeah I’m talking to you! Punk!

I’m going for it!

another bullshit week in shit town

yesterday i went to a briefing on the Hill put on by planned parenthood. Kate Walsh, from Grey's Anatomy who is on their Board of Advocates i guess, spoke about the need for comprehensive sex education in schools. Blythe Danner was there too for some reason. and there was free lunch.

the day before that i saw Blitzen Trapper at the Cat backstage. they're these burly guys from Portland who play jangly, country-twinged songs with lots of harmonica-guitar double action. a cross between credence and the shins, maybe. i think i probably shared a drum circle with each of them at some point.

today is friday, and i'm in the office in baltimore. it takes me an hour and a half door-to-door in the morning. the train ride from union station takes you through central maryland and its sludgy backwoods squalor and post-industrial decay, depressing as to rival new jersey's. i drink coffee and pretend i'm not here.

tuesday i re-take the GRE, followed by lots of carbombs. then i go to portland, so fuck you.

i need someone who knows about bikes

to find me a bike, pay for it, and teach me how to ride it while not looking like a asshole or dying.
kthnxbye.

we be making me beautiful duets

2 years, 6 months and 12 days is to be how long i've lived in DC without singing karaoke.
i'll be at Solly's the 2nd Wed of every month for the duration of my stay.
it is unfortunate they make you wear a kostume though.
