I'm in hotlanta til friday at a conference for work. Jane Fonda is here, apparently she is the founder of the organization hosting the conference. Also, she's 70 and has the biggest freaking head i've ever seen.

Janelle Monae performed to open the first session, which was awesome and also awkward since it was to a room of middle-aged health department types eating salad. She's from Kansas City too (woot woot). and TINY. like jane fonda's head was bigger than her torso.

Later, she and her band were standing around out in the lobby and i wanted to say something but all i could think of was "gaaaaa pretty hair deeeee i like you?" so fail.

will let you know if anything else cool happens.

Critical mass in DC wasn't as lame as I thought it was going to be. I rode my new fancypants Le Tour (red frame! red wheels!) and there were probably 80 or so? people there including me and Lana and Andrew and Pika, Andrew's jack russell terrier, in a Reid's orchard box strapped to the front of his bike.

here are some fuzzy bberry photos for you to see.

significant, if not critical

went back home this past weekend to celebrate my Grandfather's 90th birthday. The party was at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, MO. There were 250 people there, and I asked my grandpa if he new everyone, and he said if not by name then by face. I can't imagine having that many people who love me when I'm 90.
