 going to ocean city, md, for a bachelorette weekend in 2 weeks. am looking forward to some lady beach time, feel like i should find something by ayn rand to bring along. and some pastely floral sheets and orange stripey deck chairs for whimsical lounging.

8 half pints apricot jam
3 pints nectarines
2 pints apricots
3 1/2 pints simple syrup

i've been reconsidering "maintaining" this blog recently as I noticed I haven't posted anything in over a month. i just feel like I should probably switch over to a tumblr or something easier to post to on my phone, except i don't really know how tumblr works and the thought of learning a new social media makes me tired. also, we got a new hound dog whose adorableness has been taking up a lot of attention. we'll see.
